We are delighted to be able to take anyone into the Scottish hills, weather you’ve never ventured off the high street or you are working your way through your Munros, we’d can offer a fantastic guided day in the mountains. Our days are designed to support and develop your own skills so as well as a great day out you’ll be better placed to start venturing out happier with a better understanding of what to carry, navigation and weather.
Introduction to Navigation
This is for anyone who wants to get started or improve their skills with a map and compass. We will spend the day looking at various navigation skills to improve your understanding of how best to use these tools.
We will also look at what we should carry when venturing into the hills and what information is available to us before we go.
The day will be spent walking but we won’t be covering great distances so it would be equally beneficial to anyone venturing into the outdoors by any means.
